Welcome to my Lupus Warrior Journey !

Hey there,

Welcome to my blog and welcome to my journey. I am only at the beginning of my journey but I look forward to sharing it with you and educating others about the illness.

A bit about me:

- My name is Selin

- I am 22 years old

- I come from a Mediterranean background

- I was diagnosed with Lupus in June 2019

- I love playing sport

- I am a Health and Physical Education Teacher

- I have a fur baby named Millie who helps me on my hardest days

Please be patient with me as I am learning the ways to starting my own blog too. If you have any tips, suggestions or questions please contact me via the contact section on my page. If there is something in particular you would like to see on my blog about Lupus please email me I am happy to give as much information as I can to help you learn about the illness.

Some fun facts about Lupus because the illness is not quite fun to have:

1. Lupus is represented by the colour purple

2. A butterfly also represents the illness (normally a purple butterfly)

3. Lupus awareness month occurs every year in the month of May
